Harley is a green broke pony he has been taken very slowly as it has taken us a long time to gain his trust. He was a wild horse up to the age of 18 months old we found him tied by his neck to a tree with his younger sibling from there we bought him home treated him for lice, drenched and turned him out. Bought in for initial handling Oct 2018, turned out, gelded in Aug 2019 turned out, then bought in for starting in Dec 2019.
 
Harley is strong little horse in mind and stature, he has a big walk and loping canter, carries himself in a natural frame and is soft/light to all the aids, I would say sensitive too. His transitions are snappy and he has good rythym. Harley would suit a home as a one person horse who is experienced and can continue his education as he is sensitive. Once he gives you his trust he makes you fe el at home. He is brave and willing to do just about anything for you. He does look for reassurance from his rider and will relax with your guidance, he can scoot and spin if worried or gets a fright He has some issues that are beyond what im capable of turning around. I will only be selling him to someone more experienced than me and suitable to fix him or, he will not leave us.
 
Excellent to lead, tie, wash, lunge, drench, float, truck. Good with traffic, fine to go out in groups or alone. Paddocks well alone and with some other geldings, he gets quite possessive with mares. He has been subject to dogs, children, bikes. Needs patience with farrier, to date he has only let me trim his hooves.
